Sgt. Timothy Watts has been recognized 32 years after earning the Bronze Star in Vietnam.   Sgt Watts recieved the belated  award on the United States Army's 200th anniversary, June 14,  2000, and our country's Flag Day.  

Retired Air Force Colonel Jerry Smith pinned the medal on Sgt Watt's chest in a ceremony to honor our veterans.

Sgt. Watts is entitled to wear the Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman's Badge, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross.

Tim Watts is a resident of Ohio Furnace, Lawrence County, Ohio, and was a member of the 28th Infantry, 2st Bravo Company and served in Vietnam in 1968.
